The holiday season is upon us, and everyone’s in vacation mode. But those continuing to work during the holidays….can also have a lot of fun! How, you ask? Well, you can have your own little virtual party, arrange an office Christmas potluck, or be part of some fun virtual activities. And, of course, HatQuest can take care of that last part for you. Whether you want to connect virtually with family, friends, or colleagues, you can hop onto HatQuest for a fun Holiday ride.

Here are some things you can do as a team or family during the holiday season:

1. Host a board and card games tournament

Bring your family, friends, and team members together and arrange a tournament of all the classic board and card games. Monopoly, Ludo, Snakes and Ladders, UNO, bring out all the classics and take a trip down memory lane. Compete, play, win, and laugh in the company of your favorite people and favorite games.

2. Decorate the tree

As cliche as this one is, it is actually one of the most wholesome and fun activities to do as a team. Give each member a charm to decorate and personalize, and come together to hang it on the tree. It also makes for a great photo corner!

3. Do a team potluck lunch

The advantage of a team is that everyone comes with their own unique flavor, literally and metaphorically speaking. The holiday season is a great time to arrange a potluck and learn about everyone’s culture and cuisine. So, pick a day, pick a dish each and bring it all together. It’s easy to arrange, fun to do, and somehow, there’s always way more than everyone can eat!

4. Arrange a gift exchange

Gift-exchanging exercises are great for teams. They are great to get to know each other’s likes and dislikes and an opportunity to build deeper bonds beyond the usual work stuff. The most popular and pocket friendly gift exchange game is Secret Santa. Every member of the team gives and receives one gift each.

You can arrange Secret Santa on HatQuest.

5. Organize a virtual games night

If you’re not physically around your family, or work as a remote or hybrid team, you can come together for interactive real-time activities. From classics like Pictionary and Spin the Bottle to more advanced activities like virtual Escape Rooms, you’ll find various virtual game options online to engage with your team. Find one that best suits your requirements and play away!
